With the nicer weather I've been loving me some smoothies. Cucumbers are my new secret ingredient especially since they are 96% water and jammed packed with nutritous goodness like vit. A, B, C & D potassium, magnesium, fiber...making those green things more nutritous than water. So, when I came across this recipe on Pinterest I just had to try it even though it isn't exactly Tuesday ~ delish!!
Ingredients
1 cup Spinach
1/2 cup cucumber
1 carrot
1 whole banana
1/2 cup strawberries
handful of fresh mint leaves
Instructions
1. Chop up your cucumber, carrot and banana and toss into your juicer along with strawberries
2. Add 1/2 cup of water and/or ice for chill and start blending away. Feel free to add more water or ice to your liking.
